Breakfast for the Olmsted Parks

Join us to learn about the value Olmsted Parks Conservancy brings to the community and to celebrate the treasured, nationally significant Olmsted Parks.

We are excited to announce our guest speaker this year will be Mitchell Silver, Commissioner of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

Mr. Silver is internationally recognized for his leadership in the planning profession and his contributions to contemporary planning issues. As an award-winning planner, Silver has developed several initiatives including one to build a more equitable parks system and another to make parks more open by improving entrances, transforming underutilized areas, and creating vibrant public spaces. Commissioner Silver, one of the nation’s most celebrated urban thinkers, was elected to Planetizen’s list of the 100 Most Influential Urbanists.

We hope you will join us for the 2018 Breakfast for the Olmsted Parks.
