FREE Information Session: Park Steward Program

Join us for a FREE Information Session to learn more about Olmsted Parks Conservancy’s Park Steward Program.
A Park Steward is a volunteer leader who receives in-depth training by Olmsted Parks Conservancy staff in order to help with park projects, volunteer events and/or community outreach. Our training program teaches you about the history of the Frederick Law Olmsted Parks and their importance in our community, how to identify plants, how to properly remove invasive plants, how plant native trees and shrubs, and the basics of leading volunteer projects and park activities. Trained volunteers commit to assist with restoration projects, volunteer events and/or community outreach.
