Boone Square, the oldest park in the Frederick Law Olmsted Park System, is having much needed work done. This historic wall surrounding this popular park is in need of restoration after 120 years of exposure to the harsh elements of the urban environment.
The limestone wall is carefully being disassembled. Each salvageable stone will be cleaned up and placed back in the wall. New stones will replace many stones that have disintegrated because of the age and urban wear. Project will be completed in September.
