Designed in 1915, Bingham Park was originally called Clifton Park in reference to its topography. In 1937, the park was renamed to Bingham in honor of Robert Worth Bingham, a prominent local lawyer and former owner of Courier-Journal.
Through collaboration and communicating about program and project needs, Friends of Olmsted Parks will help us improve and activate our parks, creating a positive community impact.
